Tech fans and YouTube users, get ready for some engaging new updates on the popular video-sharing platform. One of the recent enhancements is the "stable volume" function on mobile gadgets that aims to decrease instabilities during listening.
When watching a video in full screen or portrait mode, press and hold anywhere in the player. This feature allows users to tap clips, consequently speeding them up to twice their original tempo.
Some other significant improvements include the option to lock the screen, averting unintentional taps that might cause exiting the video. Additionally, hum-based song discovery (reminiscent of Google Search) is expected to roll out on Android devices in the coming weeks.
With the introduction of the You tab on YouTube, users can now enjoy a better experience when navigating the platform. The new tab allows quick access to:
- Previously watched videos
- Playlists
- Downloads
- Purchases
- Account settings
- Channel information
This feature will replace “Library”
Moreover, when creators utter the phrases "like" or "subscribe," YouTube now offers a visual cue linked to the corresponding buttons. Also, YouTube enhances the creators' experience with newly uploaded videos. This animation is designed to display the interaction metrics, such as view count and like count, live for the initial 24-hour window following the video's upload.
