FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is an enhanced version of the original FANTASIAN game, which was initially released on Apple Arcade in 2021. Developed by Mistwalker Corporation, it is a role-playing game (RPG) created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of FINAL FANTASY, with music composed by Nobuo Uematsu. FANTASIAN Neo Dimension will be released on December 5, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. SQUARE ENIX announced that the game will be available in both physical and digital formats for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, and digitally for others.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is an engaging role-playing video game where players step into the shoes of Leo, accompanied by a growing party, as they explore diverse worlds, including the land of Vibra. Navigation between these worlds is facilitated by a world map, and within each location, a minimap guides players through key areas and routes with markers for automatic travel.

The game features a turn-based combat system where players can lead up to three characters in battles against random enemies or face off in scripted boss encounters. Strategic combat is enhanced by positioning and weapon types, allowing attacks and skills to target multiple foes. A standout feature is the Dimengeon system, enabling players to defer random encounters by storing up to thirty enemies. Once the Dimengeon fills, a comprehensive battle ensues, offering bonuses like extra turns and damage boosts.

As players advance, they encounter new mechanics, such as a character growth system that uses a grid for unlocking abilities with Skill Points. Additionally, weapons and equipment can be upgraded with new skills and attributes. The Tension gauge introduces another strategy layer by building up during combat to unlock powerful special moves. Players can also switch characters during turns to optimize battle strategies. The experience is enhanced by over 150 hand-crafted dioramas, creating a stunning environment that brings the universe to life. 

The 2024 Neo Dimension in addition to the multi-platform release features high-definition graphics (4K support on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC), and supports English and Japanese voiceovers, alongside additional difficulty options to enhance gameplay customization.

FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is set for release on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders include an exclusive bonus: the Vibran Secret Stone, an in-game item that boosts the experience.
