Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the iconic game, will launch on September 9, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This action-packed third-person shooter was developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment, promising an immersive experience for fans of the franchise and new players alike.

Prepare for intense battles as you step into the boots of legendary Space Marine Lieutenant Titus, voiced by Clive Standen. Developed by the team behind the blockbuster co-op shooter World War Z, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 pits players against the relentless Tyranid Swarms in epic galactic warfare. Players can tackle the campaign solo or join forces with up to two friends in seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op mode, embodying the unwavering brutality of the Emperor’s greatest warriors.

A recently released six-minute Gameplay Overview Trailer, narrated by Creative Director Oliver Hollis-Leick, delves deeper into the campaign, multiplayer modes, and progression mechanics. This trailer showcases the game's combat dynamics and customization options, ensuring a rich and engaging experience for both PvE and PvP enthusiasts.

In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, players can choose from six playable classes—Tactical, Assault, Vanguard, Bulwark, Sniper, and Heavy—in ‘Operations’ (PvE) and ‘Eternal War’ (PvP) modes, customizing their Space Marines and load-outs with a deep system for armor and weapon modifications. Each class can be upgraded with up to 25 perks, allowing players to tailor their gameplay style using earned Experience and Armoury Data. Free post-launch updates will introduce new missions, enemies, weapons, and more PvP maps.

Pre-orders are now open for the Standard and Gold Editions of the game. By pre-ordering the Gold Edition, you'll receive the base game along with the “Macragge’s Chosen” DLC and the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Season Pass, plus exclusive access to the full game four days before its official release (September 5th). The Gold Edition also includes the official SteelBook, available only at participating retail stores. If you choose the Standard Edition, you'll get the base game and the “Macragge’s Chosen” DLC, which features three unique cosmetics for your Bolt Rifle, Chainsword, and Power Armour and costs $99.99
