Pokemon Horizons, originally known as Pocket Monsters: Liko and Roy's Departure and Pocket Monsters: The Sparkling of Terapagos, made its debut in Japan in April. The American release date for Pokemon Horizons has finally been announced, and it will be available on Netflix in February 2024.
The series introduces two new Pokemon trainers, Liko and Roy, who join forces with the Rising Volt Tacklers, a group of adventurers exploring the vast Pokemon world. The storyline includes the Paldea region, which was first introduced in the Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet games of 2022.
Notably, Horizons marks the first Pokemon series without Ash Ketchum, leading to much speculation among fans about the future of the beloved franchise. The English version of the series will make its debut in the UK in December and February 2024 in the United States.
In the English dub, Alejandra Reynoso and Anjali Kunapaneni voice Liko and Roy, respectively.
