Amazon's Buy with Prime service, which allows Prime members to shop directly from third-party merchants and enjoy Prime benefits such as free shipping and returns, has introduced new features. These include the ability to track Buy with Prime orders through Amazon's website and mobile app, as well as access to 24/7 live chats with customer service.
Additionally, Amazon is expanding drop-off sites for returns. Customers can now return eligible Buy with Prime orders at nearby UPS Store locations, Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go stores without the need for a box or label.

Furthermore, shoppers can now view Amazon reviews on "off-Amazon product pages for participating brands that offer Buy with Prime," as stated in today's announcement. This inclusion of reviews from real Amazon customers helps instill confidence in shoppers when making purchases on a third-party website.

The introduction of these new Buy with Prime features aligns with the start of the 2023 holiday season. Amazon aims to attract more customers to try out the service and generate fee revenue from additional online stores, as it faces competition from marketplaces like TikTok Shop and Shein. According to the company, Buy with Prime has proven to expand a merchant's customer base, with three out of every four Buy with Prime orders coming from new shoppers.

Buy with Prime was officially launched in April 2022 and expanded its availability earlier this year. Many brands, including Wyze, KNOW Beauty, and ALT. Fragrances, offer Buy with Prime in their online stores, among others.
