This new addition comes in the form of an AI-powered background editing tool, designed to empower users with the ability to effortlessly change the backgrounds of their images in Stories.

Ahmad Al-Dahle, the lead for generative AI at Meta, the parent company of Instagram, elaborates on how this remarkable tool opens up creative possibilities. With a wide range of prompts to choose from, such as "On a red carpet," "Being chased by dinosaurs," and "Surrounded by puppies," users can customize their image backgrounds to suit their unique story needs.

This feature allows users to create their custom prompts. After a user shares a Story featuring the freshly created background, a "Try it" sticker will appear for others. This sticker prompts them to explore the image generation tool.
