Following a brief trial phase, Counter-Strike 2 has been officially unveiled to the PC gaming community via the Steam platform. It's crucial to recognize that this installment is not a direct continuation of its predecessor, but rather constitutes a significant free update to the widely-acclaimed Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Enthusiasts can anticipate returning to familiar maps and modes, albeit with upgraded visuals and polished, revamped layouts. A noteworthy addition in Counter-Strike 2 allows players to request refunds for mistakenly purchased weapons. Interestingly, the original Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, debuting in 2012, is no longer accessible on Steam.
Newcomers to Counter-Strike 2 can partake in a brief tutorial utilizing bots before delving into Normal and Deathmatch modes. A variety of competitive matches will be made available progressively.
