The confirmed release date for Avowed, the highly-anticipated action RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, is February 18, 2025—much sooner than you might have thought while waiting for this title. This first-person fantasy adventure unfolds a world of Eora, familiar to fans of the Pillars of Eternity series. Among games coming out in February 2025, this title stands out as one of the most highly awaited by gamers.

Avowed takes players to the Living Lands, a mysterious frontier within the world of Eora, teeming with danger and excitement. You assume the role of an envoy sent from the Aedyr Empire to investigate a sinister plague known as the Dream Scourge. The Living Lands is a diverse landscape filled with verdant forests, rugged deserts, and sprawling caves, each with its ecosystem and secrets to uncover.

As you unravel hidden truths, you’ll encounter vibrant characters, some of whom may become your companions. These allies bring unique skills and personalities, shaping the narrative as you work together to confront this compelling threat to the land.

The game is designed to captivate players with its blend of engaging mechanics and a deeply woven story. Here’s what you can expect:
