Rebellion, the renowned independent video game studio behind popular franchises like Sniper Elite and Zombie Army, announced the release of Atomfall, set for March 2025. Revealed during the Xbox @ gamescom Livestream on gamescoms' first day, Atomfall brings a fresh survival-action experience to players.

About the Atomfall

Atomfall is a single-player survival-action game that takes players to a fictionalized quarantine zone in the North of England, inspired by real-life events of the 1957 Windscale disaster. Set five years after the catastrophe, players will explore a sprawling landscape of countryside, valleys, caves, and a seemingly quaint English village, all hiding a dark mystery.

Players will navigate through military encampments, explore abandoned bunkers, and face perilous Pagan ruins as they uncover secrets with the help of a trusty metal detector. The game features a cast of eccentric characters and cryptic organizations, each shaping the player's journey. With both ranged and melee weapons at their disposal, players must be wary, as not all survivors are friendly.
