If you search "Who is a geek?" on Google, you'll find, in short, that a geek is just an expert in their field. When looking for geek-related things, you'll often find stuff about space. This is because geeks love franchises like Star Wars, Star Trek, or any story with a space theme. Based on this, we could say geeks should be experts in spacecraft. So, real geeks might be excited to know that Uncle Chop's Rocket Shop lets you fix a spaceship in a simulation. It's coming out for Windows PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on December 5, 2024.

Gameplay, spaceships, repair modules, and rascals are revealed in the trailer, which also includes a brief look at boss ships, factions, and... occult "activities" associated with them... oh, and donuts.

About Uncle Chop's Rocket Shop

Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop is an eccentric spaceship repair simulator. Inspired by the humor and aesthetics of Adventure Time and Rick & Morty, the frenzied "fix-em-up" Uncle Chop's Rocket Shop challenges players to embrace chaos as Wilbur, a fox-headed mechanic in a vest, repairs ships for a group of quirky clients.

All Wilbur needs to do is earn a meager living as a mechanic by fixing as many ships as he can to afford the ever-increasing rent from his tyrannical boss, Uncle Chop. Equipped with a range of tools, diagnostic devices, parts, and workshop equipment, Wilbur will need to troubleshoot procedurally generated spaceship modules based on specific brand manuals acquired along the way. From simple refueling jobs to full mechanical overhauls, you'll have to frantically rummage, cut, loosen, tighten, grab, and toss to complete as many tasks as possible within each day's time limit.

Ultratactile mechanics combined with a roguelite format create a unique and exhilarating gameplay experience where players must frantically rummage, cut, loosen, tighten, grab, and toss to get tasks done within each day's time limit. For those who find the time pressure too intense, there is also a Focused Fixing mode that offers an alternative challenge in a non-chronological setting.

Keep time, think fast, work faster, and pay the ever-increasing bills, driving you to take on bolder and riskier tasks from a variety of oddballs.
