SteamWorld Heist is a turn-based strategy game where players lead a team of steampunk robots in tactical battles using ricocheting bullets and exploring levels that are generated procedurally. This August, the adventure continues with SteamWorld Heist II, which features high-seas exploration, improved gameplay mechanics, and a new chapter in this beloved series.

Thunderful announced that SteamWorld Heist II will be released on August 8, 2024. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam Deck, and PC via Steam, EGS, or GOG.

In SteamWorld Heist II, players embark on a humorous and thrilling adventure on the high seas, taking charge as Captain Leeway alongside a ragtag crew of Steambots. Players will explore vast horizons, both above and below the waves, as they set sail to solve the mystery of a deadly water crisis causing metal limbs and mechanical hearts to corrode. The game plunges players into a handcrafted world featuring intense turn-based combat, where bullets ricochet with deadly precision, alongside a hilarious cast and unique story for the strategy genre, all set to a toe-tappingly catchy musical backdrop.
