Back to the Future - DeLorean DMC-12

The DeLorean DMC-12, known for its stainless steel body and gull-wing doors, is one of the most iconic cars from classic movies. This futuristic vehicle became a cultural icon thanks to its role in the "Back to the Future" trilogy. Designed by John DeLorean, it was first launched in the early 1980s, but it was its transformation into a time machine by Doc Brown that truly made it legendary in film history.

The filmmakers of "Back to the Future" wanted a vehicle that could convincingly serve as a time machine, and the DeLorean's unique design fit the bill perfectly. Its distinctive look and stainless steel construction were ideal for the movie's special effects, especially the memorable lighting scenes.

Reproductions and carefully restored models are highly sought after and can fetch high prices at auctions. The DeLorean's impact continues, appearing frequently in pop culture, fan conventions, and modern TV shows. For enthusiasts, owning a DeLorean feels like having a piece of movie history, making it a prized item for collectors of film memorabilia. Well, if you’ve got no space in the garage and a few extra tens of thousands lying around, you might want to check out the Iron Studios 1/10 version of the DeLorean. Harry Potter - Ford Anglia

This toy-like car captured audiences' hearts with its whimsical look and magical features in the Harry Potter series. The Ford Anglia, a popular model from the 1960s, was made by the Ford Motor Company in the UK and gained fame for its affordability and unique design. Known for its sloping rear window and bright color choices, the Anglia represented British automotive creativity during its time.

Its journey to the magical realm of Hogwarts began when filmmakers chose this iconic model for its charmingly nostalgic and quirky look, perfectly aligning with the whimsical world of Harry Potter. The pale blue 1959 Ford Anglia took center stage in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," where it famously transported Harry and Ron to Hogwarts in a thrilling airborne escapade. The car’s inclusion added an enchanting touch of magic to the film, capturing the imagination of audiences worldwide.

Today, the Ford Anglia stands as a symbol of the Harry Potter franchise, loved by fans and collectors. Its legacy is celebrated in exhibitions and theme parks, where it continues to captivate visitors with its unique charm. The Batman - Tumbler Batmobile

We have finally arrived at truly exclusive automobiles that are not meant for mass consumption, making it impossible to find equivalent models. Acknowledging that change is inevitable over time, below you will find an explanation of what I mean.

The Tumbler Batmobile from "The Dark Knight" series is a remarkable example of modern engineering and creativity. Designed by director Christopher Nolan and production designer Nathan Crowley, the Tumbler was a fresh take on previous Batmobiles, showcasing a rugged, military-inspired look that fits the film's darker tone...

The design process started with a scale model made from various toy parts, blending elements of Lamborghini and military tanks. This vision was realized by engineers at Chris Corbould's special effects workshop, who built a functional vehicle capable of performing real stunts. The Tumbler featured a powerful 500-horsepower engine, could reach speeds over 100 mph, and included special functions like a jet engine and stealth mode, making it just as impressive off-screen as it was on-screen.

In "The Dark Knight," the Tumbler is crucial, serving as Batman's main mode of transport and symbolizing his relentless quest for justice. Its raw power and innovative design captured the audience's attention, quickly turning the Tumbler into an iconic representation of the franchise.

Today, the Tumbler Batmobile is more than just a movie vehicle. Replicas are often displayed at exhibitions and special events worldwide. Collectors can find various models that celebrate its memorable place in cinematic history. In honor of Batman's 85th anniversary this year, a limited run of 10 fully functional Wayne Enterprises Tumblers, the iconic Batmobiles, is being offered by invitation only. These collectible Tumbler Batmobiles are officially endorsed by Warner Bros. and will be available for purchase to a select group of car enthusiasts. For those who missed out on a full-sized batmobile invitation, LEGO provides a nearly identical version that will make a great gift.

Mad Max - Ford XB Falcon GT Coupe

Finally, my personal favorite is the Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe from Mad Max, which evokes associations of forced freedom. This car, an emblem of automotive and cinematic history, gained fame through its role in the "Mad Max" series. Produced by Ford Australia in the 1970s, it was celebrated for its muscular design and powerful 351ci Cleveland V8 engine. Filmmakers Byron Kennedy and George Miller chose this model over a foreign Mustang for its practicality, transforming it into the "Last of the V8 Interceptors." The car's metamorphosis included a distinctive gloss and matte black finish, a Concorde front end by Peter Arcadipane, and a non-functional Weiand supercharger, creating an iconic vision.

In "Mad Max," the Interceptor symbolizes Max Rockatansky's journey of vengeance in a dystopian world. After "Mad Max" the iconic Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe, initially handed to mechanic Murray Smith for unpaid work, toured Melbourne as a promotional piece (Murray tried to sell it, but no one was interested) before being repurchased by producers for the sequel, thanks to the film's soaring success. A duplicate was used for stunts, enhancing its on-screen legend.

Revived in "Mad Max: Fury Road," the Interceptor, though not the original, retained its gritty appeal with updated weathering and design. Today, this iconic vehicle is housed at the Miami Auto Museum. Many fans of the Mad Max franchise would love to own it or its exact replicas. We discovered a tabletop version that lets you decorate your space while showcasing your passion for freedom, speed, and pop culture.
